LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The cooldown continues as a cool front makes its way to Southern California.
A trough of low pressure moves in Monday night into Tuesday, bringing cooler temperatures and a marine layer -- plus a chance for a patchy drizzle. Tuesday is expected to be the coolest day of the week.
Temperatures this week should be mostly in the 60s and 70s.
Looking ahead to the weekend, another cold front is headed our way, bringing more cool temps and a slight chance for a drizzle.
Los Angeles and Orange counties Tuesday can expect a high of 68 degrees and a low of 53. By Wednesday, temperatures will start to rise back into the 70s.
The valleys and the Inland Empire Tuesday will have a high of 71 degrees and a low of 49. On Wednesday, expect a high back up to 76 degrees.
Beaches Tuesday will see a lot of clouds and a high of 66. Expect similar weather for the remainder of the week.
The mountains Tuesday will have a very slight chance of showers with a high of 52 and a low of 27.
Deserts Tuesday can expect gusty winds and a high of 67 degrees. Temperatures will jump to the low 80s later in the week.
