Jory Rand
Jory Rand is the co-anchor for ABC7 Eyewitness News Weekends and an Emmy Award winning general assignment reporter.

Raised in Columbia, Maryland, Jory studied broadcast journalism at the University of Maryland, where he was also a two-time All-Conference hockey player, helping lead the Terps to two ACC Championships.

Jory came to ABC7 from KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, where he won two Pennsylvania AP awards and four consecutive Golden Quill Awards from the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania. He also worked in Richmond, Virginia at WWBT/WRLH and WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Jory lives in Northeast L.A. with his wife, their three children and two rescue dogs. He's a foster parent and is passionate about foster care and adoption, as well as animal advocacy.
